No, New York City isn't a great place for the White House (or whatever the office is called). It is not in the center of the state and I would argue Washington D.C. I think this city would just have too much power and in a country this large, I don't think any city should be that dominant. Although, I've always thought Boston or Philadelphia would've made for a better US capital due to their history and involvement in creating this country.
