Can anybody help me review/revise my poems first draft??

Firm resolve alone is what I thought was needful to conquer my foul language but a cuss word would effortlessly bounce off my lips, leaving me once again defeated. I vowed I wouldn’t do those immoral acts anymore until temptation wrestled me into stunned submission. The day came when I recognized my faults were really sins. The fig leaves of my self-sufficiency were replaced with amazing grace the day that I repented and was gloriously filled with His Spirit. As I spoke with other tongues, I was filled with incredible joy and an overcoming power, something inconceivably bigger than myself.

It's great! I think if you changed the word "do" in "I wouldn't do those immoral acts" to "commit", you could follow the flow of the words, but other than that, I can find no fault! :)
