Answer: Without natural resources, a nation can still exchange goods or services for whatever they require through labor and intelligence.

Explanation:

Not every nation can supply it's population with everything grown "in-house" Take mangos at the grocery store, for example, we import these exotic fruits for currency or other fruit. In a larger scale, one country may not be near a large body of potable water but have supple oil while another country may have all the water it needs but is in need of oil so they would be in optimal conditions to trade.

Answer:

A nation can be succesful without natural resouces by trading other things like machinery television sets clothes and so many more things but if a country has more natural resouces it is better because they can trade these natural resources for whatever they want . The best thing about having natural resouces is that not every country has it so they are most likely to do a succesful trade because the other country does not have that natural resource. Anyway you can still be succesful if you dont have natural resources but if you do have a natural resource thats just icing on the cupcake.
