- Deforestation- It is a process of cutting down trees, which results in the low absorption of CO₂ and less production of O₂ by plants and trees. This results in a global rise in temperature.
- Burning of fossil fuels- The use of fossil fuels also is a threat to the increasing global climate because burning up fossil fuels releases carbon into the atmosphere which is a green house gas. A small increase in the concentration of carbon leads to a rise in the global temperature.
- Amount of pollutants- The amount of pollutant present in the atmosphere, along with carbon and other gases, has the capacity to trap the incoming solar radiation, that increases the surface temperature on earth.
