I'm writing a research paper about ancient Greece right now but my current online program didn't give me much information or many resources to write a paper about ancient Greece so can someone give me a refresher or help me out with these topics? I'm familiar with a few but I don't have enough information on them to write a paragraph for each. (Don't write a paragraph for each btw, just give me a few things to write about that fit those descriptions)

Religion

Clothing

Social Classes

Architecture and Building Techniques

Famous Buildings

Style of Government

Answer:

Explanation:

Religion: The Greeks had classified as polytheistic. This means that they believed in many gods/goddesses. We believe that there religion started about a thousand years ago, so somewhere around 9th or 8th century bce. The Greek gods lived in Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece.

Clothing: They would wear tunic and himations, they kinda look like togas. These are made from wool fabric, and linen. They wouldn't wear much because of the extreme heat.

Social classes: The 4 main classes were the upper class, the metics (middle class), the lower class, or freedmen.... Along with the slave class. Upper class was those who "born to Athenian parents".

Architecture and Building Techniques: Ok, i dont really remember how they built there buildings, but that they were very clever and we get some of our our building techniques for them. "The Greeks built most of their temples and government buildings in three types of styles :Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian. These styles (also called "orders") were reflected in the type of columns they used. Most all of the columns had grooves down the sides called fluting." -Google

Style of Government: There was 4 main government styles, and they were  Democracy, ruled by the males (Because women were not involved in anything :(  ) Monarchy, ruled by an individual who had inherited his role. Oligarchy, ruled by a select group of individuals. Tyranny, ruled by an individual who had seized power by unconstitutional means.

One historical figure from Ancient Greece: My favorite one was Alexander the Great. He inherited a powerful yet volatile kingdom, but then quickly dealt with his enemies at home and reasserted Macedonian power within Greece. He then set out to conquer the massive Persian Empire.

I love this kinda stuff!!! And can you PLEASE mark me most brainly?!?!
