But, there's a catch. If you divide both sides of the inequality by a negative number, you have to flip the inequality sign. For example, if you are trying to solve the inequality -x > 4 you would have to divide both sides of the equation by -1. We would get x < -4 (see how I switched the inequality sign from > to <).

Once you find the values of x and y (they will be an inequality), graph the solutions.
