Answer :

Answer:

Claim: What substances are food for plants? One of them is sun/light, another one is carbon dioxide and plants obviously need water!

Evidence: As you can see in the picture the plant is thriving, and why is that? Well, as you can see in the picture the plant is absorbing sunlight, water and carbon dioxide. With sunlight, water and, carbon dioxide the plant can grow into a healthy plant with photosynthesis! You can see that the plant is taking in carbon dioxide, and then on the leaves you can see there is carbohydrate. Plants make the most abundant form of carbohydrate, called glucose, through photosynthesis.

Reasoning: When plants grow they absoultley NEED sunllight or any type of light because this gives energy to the plant for photosynthesis to occur, without photosynthesis the plant wouldn't be able to grow! Why plants need carbon dioxide is because they turn the carbon dioxide, water and sunlight into oxygen for us to breath from. Lastly, plants need water to make photosynthesis happen, and without photsynthesis we would have a lot less oxyegn or even we could all die!
