What does the slope of the line represent and what does the y-intercept of this function represent? HOW DO YOU GET THIS?!??!!

Answer :

tanner23456
slope is the steepness of a line while the y-intercept is the point where the line crosses the y-axis.
PandaM
y=mx+b
m=slope
b=y-intercept
y=line

example: y=3/4x+4
y-intercept=4 (plot on the y axis)
slope= 3/4 ( up 3 from the plotted 4 and over 3 to the right).

Hope this helps! (;
